Alfred Walker was the son of Sydney Marie Walker and Alfred Dunlap, born on September 15, 1955 in Leavenworth Kansas.

Alfred was educated in Leavenworth Schools.  He was employed and retired from University of Kansas Medical Center as a Painter.

He will be fondly remembered for his love of life. He always had something funny to say about everything and was not shy about telling you anything.  Alfred was a homemaker and loved to cook. He could cook just about anything from spaghetti to turkey and dressing, but he perfected a recipe for potato salad.

Alfred's greatest love was his 3 daughters and 6 grandchildren. He was  very active and an important part of all their lives. Alfred is survived by his three daughters: Shelby Gauger, Klara Walker and Lillie Walker-Allen. Six grandchildren: Jae'yara Banks, Kaliyah Robbins, Caleb Allen, Camille Allen, Javion Leach and Kamden Eugene Walker, all of Leavenworth, KS. Three sisters: Renita Tolbert, Leavenworth, KS, Paula Cathey (Wendell), Leavenworth, KS, Gaye Walker (Woodbridge, VA) and two brothers, Mark Walker (Lydia), Baltimore, MD and Jeff Walker, Seaside, CA.

Al had a very special aunt, Lillie Mock, who survives the home. Aunt Lillie took care of Alfred while he was ill and loved him through his fussing and cussing.  He also is survived by two other aunts, Sally Walker (KCMO) and Chara Lorrance (Steve), Aloha, OR and one Uncle, John E. Walker (Mildred) of Leavenworth, KS and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
