The night Anna was born on July 16, 1953 was a very stormy night, rain was pouring, the sky was lit up with lightening and the thunder was loud. Our mother was in labor and she said "I don't have any time to waste!" Our Dad's truck would not start, so the only choice was to ask a neighbor. The neighbor lady took our parent to the hospital and stayed for the birth of the baby. Anna Marie came into the world loud and screaming, our neighbor lady gave her a nickname of stormy, and always called her by that name from that day on. She was tough, kind, loving, and generous. Anna was born to Henry and Genevieve Benson in Kerrville, Texas.

Anna was employed by Kmart in Kerrville, Texas, VA Hospital in Leavenworth, Kansas, where she worked in nursing and administrative assistant.
Anna has resided in San Antonio, Texas, Kerrville, Texas, and Leavenworth, Kansas.
