Becky Jo McManus, 62, of Leavenworth, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022. Becky was born October 15, 1959 to Walter and Bernice (Reynolds) Thompson in Britt, Iowa. She attended St. Paul Lutheran School and Leavenworth High School. She worked most of her career in the title insurance business in Leavenworth County, starting at Miller Abstract Co. who sold to First American Title Company. She then worked at Kansas Secured Title and McCaffree-Short Title. Becky took a break from title insurance and worked for the U.S. Marshal's office in Kansas City, KS for a couple years.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents, sister Carol and brother Walter "Butch". Becky is survived by her husband, Terry McManus, son, Jesse McManus, grandsons Ian and Ryan McManus; sisters, Linda Davis, Rita Rogers and Donna Maiden, several nieces and nephews. Becky loved going to garage sales and flower gardening.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
