Betty A Heintzelman, 99, of Harrisonville, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Cass County Regional Health Center.

She was born December 15, 1923 in Salisbury, Missouri, the daughter of William and Veronika (Thiel) Eastin. She graduated from High School in Marceline, Missouri. She attended Brookfield Business College in Brookfield, Missouri.

Betty was homemaker. She enjoyed making dolls and making outfits for them, quite a few newspapers wrote articles about her work over the years. Betty was a member of the Red Hat Society and in later years helped Leo with his construction business.

She was a member of St Casmir Catholic Church in Leavenworth, Kansas, and the Altar Society.

She married Leo Vincent Heintzelman on December 29th , 1941 in Marceline, Missouri. He preceded her in death on June 14 th , 2004.

Betty was also preceded in death by her parents, and three children, William (Bill) Heintzelman, Charles Vincent Heintzelman, and Sue Ann Heider.

Survivors include a son, Clinton Heintzelman (Elsie), Monument Colorado, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 30th, 2023 , at Davis Funeral Chapel in Leavenworth, Kansas, followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 9:00 a.m. at St Casmir Catholic Church in Leavenworth, Kansas. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1011 Desoto Rd, Lansing, Kansas. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Society. Online condolences maybe
