Billie Joe Patterson of Weston, Missouri passed on to his heavenly home, February 7, 2024 with heart complications. Billie was born in Pleasantville, Iowa on March 18, 1947 to Eva Burnham and William Patterson.

Billie was a talented carpenter, a car enthusiast, restoring and building many old cars and trucks. He always built these for others. Billie served in the army during the Vietnam conflict. He spent his years in Germany, later singing up for special forces as a parachutist. He loved jumping. Billie knew no stranger and loved to talk; he would help anyone. He was a little onery at times. Billie loved to be in nature and on the mountain with his friends.

Billie is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Rose, and sister-in-law's, Theresa and Frances, and half brother, Mike Patterson.

Billie will be sadly missed by his family and friends! Leaving behind Janice Patterson, daughter, Brenda (Kirk) Warden, granddaughter Allie Grace, his significant other of 29 years, Susan Grinlinton, his step children, Philip Grinlinton, Kirk (Danielle) Grinlinton, Lauren (Paul) Shouse, grandchildren, Emma, Grant, Luke, Fiona, Callum and Anya, brothers, Larry, Dan (Linda), John, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held at Leavenworth National Cemetery  on Thursday, February 22,2024 at 2:30 PM. Celebration of Life will follow at the Groggery, 800 N Main Lansing,KS.
