Bristol Joyce, A.K.A. Spoon, Victor Newman, Selleck, and Ripter, 43, of Leavenworth, passed away peacefully from this life the afternoon of December 1, 2023 in his sister's home. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family and care team the last days of fighting cancer.
Bristol was born to Rex and Bonnie Joyce on January 4, 1980. His siblings include Tracy Joyce of Paxton, IL, Bridgett Joyce, of Patomac, IL, Josh and Justin Joyce, Dennis and David Glad, of Paxton, IL, and Ryia Graham of Leavenworth, KS.
Bristol grew up in Illinois up until he was 12, his father accepted a new job on Fort Leavenworth and moved his family to Leavenworth, Kansas. He attended Leavenworth High School. After getting his GED Bristol met his long-time girlfriend, Rena Wash. Bristol's interests were fishing, playing dominoes, going on road trips with Carl, playing basketball, joking around, dancing, making people laugh, taking walks with his daughter.
He was preceded in death by his awesome father, Rex Joyce, maternal grandparents, Hansel and Ruth Mays, and his paternal grandparents, Charles and Jenny Joyce.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Zh'Ariah Joyce, of Kansas City, Kansas, long-time girlfriend, Rena Wash, of Leavenworth, Kansas, his mother, Bonnie, His five big brothers, Tracy Joyce, Justin Joyce, Josh Joyce, Dennis and David Glad, one big sister, Bridgett Joyce and his one little sister, Ryia Graham, nephew, Jay Sanders and nieces, Ameira and RaMyia Graham and his brother-in-law's, Scott Bridgman and Ramone Graham, as well as a host of many relatives and tons of friends.

Celebration of Life will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel on Friday December 15, 2023 from 5 to 7 P.M. A reception/ get together will follow at 8:00 P.M. at American Legion Post #94.
