Byron Colton Farr was born on September 14, 1988, in Leavenworth, KS, at St. John's Hospital to Barney and Jackie Farr of Leavenworth, KS.
He met the Lord on Friday, June 19, 2026, with family present.
Colton shared a deep love of demolition derbies with his father from the time he could walk until the day he passed away. Together, he and his father built many derby cars and brought home numerous trophies. Colton also enjoyed taking the scenic route wherever he went, finding the longest backroads he could travel. His love for driving his tow truck was undeniable became a big part of his life as well.
Colton is survived by his mother, Jackie Farr of Leavenworth,KS; his soulmate and longtime girlfriend, Carissa Daniels of Highland,KS; daughter Scarlett and son Byron Sterling (Cassandra Garmon) of Wellsville,KS; son Colton (CJ) and daughters Carinne and Cailey of Highland, KS; and three bonus children whom he loved very much: Carson, Creedence, and Maggie.
He is also survived by his sister, Emmaly (Cody) Schmitendorf of Lansing, KS and his brother, Zachary (Lacey) Farr of Leavenworth, KS; his maternal grandparents, Jeanette and Fred Walter of Wathena, KS; his paternal grandparents, Byron and Kathern Farr of Leavenworth, KS; and multiple nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
Colton was preceded in death by his best friend and father, Barney Farr; his maternal grandfather, John Kreitzer; and all of his great-grandparents.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is no longer in pain. Fly high with your dad, Colton. We love you, always.Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens at 11 A.M. on July 18, 2026. Celebration of Life will be held at Riverfront Community Center from noon to 2 P.M. following the burial. Arrangements entrusted to Davis Funeral Chapel.
