Calvin A. Colon, 68, Leavenworth, passed away Monday, October 3, 2022. Calvin was born December 1, 1953 to Douglas and Alice (Welch) Colon, in Leavenworth. He was one of 13 children.
Calvin had lived in Leavenworth, California, and Texas. He loved fishing, artwork, helping the elderly and loved creation.
Calvin is survived by his siblings, Nora (John) Harding, Jacquelyn (Don) Koch, Carol Hyde, Elmer (Peggy) Colon, Ona (James) Reed, Doug Wentz,  Rose (Harold ) Snell, Robert Colon, Judy Watkins, a sister in law, Mary Ward, two brother in laws, Terry Longmire, Jim Wilson and many nieces and nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, John Colon, Alberta Longmire, Mary Wilson, brother in law, James Watkins (Beefy), four nephews, Michael Hyde, David Hyde, James Mitchell, and Joshua Colon.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Luke's Hospice House, 3516 Summit Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64111. The family would like to thanks St. Luke's Hospital, Dr. Donapudi and team, the oncology and infusion team.
A memorial visitation will be Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 9 A.M. at Calvary Baptist Church, Celebration of Life will follow at 10 A.M. with Pastor Andrew Abbott officiating.
