Cayden Richard Smith, 21 Yrs old,  passed away early Sunday morning, December 14, 2025.

Cayden was born on July 14, 2004 to Larry and Jennifer Smith in Leavenworth, KS.

He has two brothers, Dante Smith and Mark Chang.

Cayden graduated from Leavenworth HS graduated 2023. He was attending Kansas University as a sophomore when he passed.

Cayden was a SPC - E4 in the Army Reserves.

Cayden enjoyed any activity with his family and friends.  They included throwing hay, cooking, playing online games, skate boarding, snowboarding, indoor rock climbing, riding motorcycles, working out, and playing football.

Cayden is preceded in death by his grandparents, David and Ella Smith (Leavenworth, KS).

Cayden is survived by his parents, Larry and Jennifer Smith (Leavenworth, KS), brothers, Dante Smith (Gardner, KS), Mark Chang (Seattle, WA), and grandparents, Steve and Kristine Magner (Leavenworth, KS).

In honor and remembrance of Specialist Cayden Smith's service in the United States Army, a memorial contribution has been made to the Wounded Warriors Project. If you would like to donate, please feel free to do so at the funeral chapel or online.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2025 from 3 to 7 P.M. at Davis Funeral Chapel.  Memorial service will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel on Monday, December 29, 2025 at 5 P.M. with military honors at 4:45 P.M. Arrangements entrusted to Davis Funeral Chapel.
