Clifford Eugene Conley (Chris/Cliff), 73, passed away on December 5, 2023 in Kansas City. He was born December 25, 1949 to Thelma Jean and George (Son) Conley. Chris was proceeded in death by his beloved mother, father, and sister. He is survived by his son, Nicholas Holmes (Morgan) of Lawrence, two grandchildren: Nic, and Hazel, a host of sisters, nieces, and nephews.

Chris found solstice in nature and enjoyed the simple things. He loved the outdoors, enjoying fishing and hunting. He tended to his pepper plants, which he would give out to anyone that he could. Born on Christmas Day, sure made him a jolly guy and full of life. He was a selfless man who was always willing to help others. Chris was a friend to many, listening ear to those who needed and you could count of him to make you smile. The biggest Kansas City Chiefs fan, who would still choose to listen to it on the radio vs television. He was a professional painter by trade, veteran of US Army Reserve. He will be deeply missed and we loved him a lot.

Committal Service will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2024, 12:30 P.M. at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
