Craig Andrew
Kenny
d. Mar 10, 2022
Craig Kenny passed away on March 10, 2022. Craig Andrew Kenny graced the earth with his beautiful smile on 12/09/1977. Craig was born in Randolph, Vermont to the proud parents of Sandra and James Kenny. Craig attended schools in various states but received his high school diploma from Blue Mountain High School in Wells River, VT in 1996.
Craig joined the Navy April 1999 and ETS'd October 2002. The happiest days of Craig's life were April 21st 2004, the day his beautiful daughter Kiana Lee was born and February 20th 2006, when his handsome son Liam Timothy was born. Liam's name was picked out long before Craig ever started a family. He just knew his son's name would be Liam!
Craig married Brooke on December 6th 2018, St. Nikolaus Day. Brooke grew up in Germany and on the Eve of December 5th children put out their shoes and St. Nikolaus brings presents or coal. It was one of the most magical days of the year for Brooke growing up… and she told Craig the only gift she would ever need was simply his heart. They married in a private Civil ceremony wanting to just share their love with each other on that day but planned to have a Wedding with family later. Somewhere in a Forest with running water nearby, as they both felt a connection to Nature. Alas, this was not to be. 6th of December will remain in her heart, for all time knowing, St. Nikolaus now has a helper for his prayers and acts of service.
Craig worked as a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter following his father Carl into the trade.
Craig loved camping, being outdoors, animals, he had a passion for music and always had it playing. Craig was most at peace in this life when he was amongst nature. Camping, hiking, swimming… whatever outdoor adventure he could find, would find him!
Craig was good with his hands. He was creative beyond imagine and when it came to planting, building, and turning nothing into something, he had an absolute knack and vision for it.
Craig had the most awesome, witty, snarky sense of humor. Craig wasn't a child, or even a man of many words, but when he did speak it was either to make you laugh or make you mad. He spoke with purpose. Craig had absolutely no fear and was the wildest of the Carlson/Kenny bunch.
He loved beyond words he couldn't always speak his Wife, Mother, Family, friends, and most of all these, he worshipped his son and daughter.
Craig leaves behind to cherish his memory his completely devoted Wife, Brooke; Daughter, Kiana Lee Kenny; Son, Liam Timothy Kenny; Stepson's, Evan and Cameron Morris; His heart broken mother, Sandra Carlson; Father Carl Carlson; Brothers, Matthew Witmore (Charmaine), Tom Carlson (Hannah), Ryan Kenny (Lisa), Jesse Carlson (Taylor) and Jamie Kenny; Sisters, Devon Kenny, Cecelia Carlson, and Dawn Conant. Craig has 10 Nephews Matthew, Brandon and Patrick Whitmore, Alex Carlson, Dexter Kenny, Matthew and Michael Stephens, Maximus Kenny, Teren Williams, and Arlo Carlson. He has 6 nieces, Macy Whitmore, Cierra Henderson, Larissa Carlson, Rainyn Whitmore, Danielle Galbreath and Morgan Conant. His Aunt Deborah Beebe and three very special cousins Michael Montgomery, Kelly Sherwood, Karen Montgomery Jones.
Craig also leaves a host of other friends, family, Veteran's, everyone who ever truly had a chance to know him and know his love and spirit and Craig will be eternally missed!
Proceeding him in death is James Kenny, his biological father; Paternal Grandparents James and Anne Kenny; Maternal Grandparents Betty Dewey and Wayne Morse; His Nan Rayda Carlson, whom was so very special to him; Nephew, Trevyn Whitmore and Uncles Timothy Kenny, and Butch Morse.
