John Dale "Dutch" Kreutzer, 91, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, November 4, 2020. Dale was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grand-father.

Dale was born in Easton, Kansas in 1929 and graduated from Easton High School. He married Carol Schmidt (Glass) in 1951 and together they had 4 children. In 1986 he married Jackie (Hennessey) Kreutzer who proceeded him in death in 1997.

Dale was married to Georgeann (Gaver) Kreutzer who he spent 20 wonderful years with. She proceeded him in death in May of 2020. He is survived by his 4 children Keith Kreutzer (Stephanie), Gary Kreutzer (Suzanna), Brad Kreutzer & DeAnn Kreutzer and 5 grand-children (Kristin, Michelle, Renee, Kara, Kelsey) and 7 great grand-children; 2 sisters Gloria Miller (Bob) and Mary Wells (Bill). Dale also had many step-children that he loved and cherished.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents John and Margaret (Bodde) Kreutzer and brother Leo Joseph Kreutzer (Nina).

Dale spent 27 years working at the US penitentiary retiring as the Machine Shop Foreman in 1982.  Dale owned Kreutzer Ornamental Iron for over 40 years until he closed shop in 2005. Dale was an avid bowler, enjoyed tinkering on watches and clocks, was an amazing gardener and loved sharing his produce with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 21st at 9am at Davis Funeral Chapel followed by a funeral mass at 10:30am at St. Joseph Church in Leavenworth, KS. A private burial service will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his honor to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
