We are saddened to announce the passing of Daniel Ray Thompson on November 11, 2025 at the age of 76.

He was drafted in the US Army in 1969, serving 3 years.  He started his career in 1982 at Lansing Correctional Facility, retiring after 31 years as a sergeant. He was preceded in death by his parents Adeline and Raymond Thompson and his wife Judy Ann Thompson (Ford). He is survived by his sons; Michael Thompson and Nathan Thompson, his grandchildren; Cassandra Herken, Caullin Thompson, Caden Thompson, Camden Thompson; Danika and Carter Thompson; his great grandchildren; Wrenly and Haisley Herken.  Services will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 10am.
