Daryl Clayton Whitmill, 80, of Lansing, KS, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.​

Daryl was born on May 20, 1942, in Kansas City, KS to Clarence and Lois Whitmill. Daryl had two sisters and two brothers. He then married Ruth Ann Dunkin, the love of his life, on March 3, 1961. They resided in Lansing, Kansas. Daryl loved to watch old westerns and visit with his family. ​

Daryl is survived by two children Audrey (David) Campbell, Daryl Allen (Dora) Whitmill, five grandchildren, Sunni, Michelle, Dallan, Daryl Domingo, and Leticia, and 1 step-grandson Jacob, 10 Great- grandchildren, Daryl "Jayden", Dominick, Jaxon, Kendrik, Troy, Adrea, Olivia (Grey), Ava, Emma, Eli, 2 step great-grandchildren Brody, and Bristol, siblings, Margorie Gibson and Gordon Whitmill.​

Visitation will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel on Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 9 to 9:30 AM. Memorial service will follow at 9:30 AM. Burial will be held at Leavenworth National Cemetery following the service.
