Leavenworth, KS - Dave Baugher, 70, passed away on November 1, 2023, in Leavenworth, KS. He was born on September 15, 1953, in Leavenworth, KS, to Raymond and Ruth (Freer) Baugher.

Dave was a beloved husband, father, and brother. He was a devoted family man who cherished his wife, Geraldine, and his children, David Jr. and Amanda (husband Shawn) Smith. He was also a caring stepfather to Mike (wife Charlene) Klemish. Dave was a proud grandfather to Leeann and Mikey, MacKenna and Jaxson Smith. He was a loving brother to Mary Katherine Laub and a doting uncle to Michelle (husband Joe) Fridlington, Shanna Laub, Brian Laub and their families.

Dave had a fulfilling career that spanned various roles. He worked as a nursery worker, landscaper, airport employee, correctional officer, business owner, handyman, renovator & machine operator at Hallmark Cards. His strong work ethic, leadership and dedication were evident throughout his professional life.

In his free time, Dave enjoyed motorcycle riding, fishing, hunting, shooting, and flying and loved dogs. He found joy in these hobbies and also loved landscaping and spending time at the gun range. Dave was known for his great friendships, especially with his long-time friends Tim, Carl, James, Buddy, and many others.

Dave's life will be celebrated with a "Celebration of Life" Memorial service at Davis Funeral Chapel, located at 531 Shawnee Street, Leavenworth, KS 66048 on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. The service will honor his memory and the impact he had on the lives of those around him.
