Davis "Dave" Denney, a beloved Leavenworthian business owner and community figure, passed away on September 28, 2024, at the age of 70. Born and raised in our community, Dave dedicated his life to serving others through his family business, Denney's Produce, which was established by his father during Dave's childhood.

Dave is survived by his  wife, Nancy, and their three daughters: Athena (Bobby) Hart, Daytha (Tony) Williams, and Nicole Denney. He also leaves behind his brother, Junior and Jan Denney, four cherished grandchildren, Danny (Kati) Lopez, Daylan Williams, Landon Hart, and Evan Hart, and two great-grandchildren on the way. He is preceded in death by his mother, father,  and sister.

A kind-hearted, cat loving, and bird feeding, family man Dave was known for his genuine care for those around him and ability to always make them laugh. His legacy of generosity and service will continue to inspire all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 3 to 5 PM at Davis Funeral Chapel, followed by a Celebration of Life Service from 5 to 5:30 PM.
