Delmer Lynn Garrison, 93, of Leavenworth, died Saturday, January 2, 2021.

He was born June 7,1927 to Lester and Blanche (Freeman) Garrison in Chapman, Kansas.
He is survived by his children, Debbie and Wayne Kesinger, Diana and Dan Dowdall, Lisa
Griffith, eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 65 years, Nadine, a brother Jack Garrison,
and sons in law Stephen Traglio and David Griffith.

As a WWII veteran, he was a life long member of the American Legion. He taught
woodworking, drafting and other subjects for 35 plus years. He also coached basketball,
football and track at the high school level.

In his spare time, woodworking and Jayhawk basketball were his passions. He enjoyed being
surrounded by his family and hearing the sounds of laughter.

Due to restrictions, there will be a small private service at the Leavenworth National Cemetery.
