Donna Rae (Thompson) Maiden, 75 years old passed April 10 2026. At her home in Leavenworth KS.

She was born November 16, 1950 To Walter and Bernice Thompson in Britt , Iowa.

She has 5 siblings; Carol Jean Thompson, Linda Lee Thompson, Walter Harry Thompson, Rita Marie Thompson, and Becky Jo Thompson.

She was married in 1969 to Michael J Hadock and they had 3 children together. And later Married Elgie Maiden in 1993

Donna loved to bake, go to the Leavenworth public library and read lots of books, plant and tend to her flowers and take care of her yard. She recently took an interest in watercolor too and always enjoyed a craft. She loved spending time with her grandchildren as they grew up and was very proud of them as adults. and she was just starting to enjoy having great grandchildren. She loved to attend Chiefs watch parties with her kids, family ,and friends.

She is preceded in death by her son, Matthew James Hadock, her husband Elgie Maiden, her siblings Carol, Walter, and Becky and her Mother and Father.

She is survived by her children, Michaela Jean Seeger Leavenworth (Jeffrey Allen Seeger). Michael John Hadock Leavenworth (Amanda Suzanne Hadock) ,grandchildren,  Garret Seeger Clarksville TN ( Megan Seeger ),Hunter Higgins Leavenworth, Ks (Abby Higgins), Julian Seeger, ,Leavenworth KS, Taz Tucker Leavenworth , KS, Luke Nolte Emerson, Iowa, Madison Lopez Leavenworth, KS ( Dustin Lopez), Megan Hadock Leavenworth , KS, Korbin Hadock Herrin, IL, Great grandchildren,  Graham Seeger , Hannah Higgins, Colt Tucker, Destiny Fitial, Her sisters, Linda Davis Sedalia, MO and Rita Rogers Edwards, MO, Nieces and nephews , extended family and friends.

Memorial contributions can be made to HOPE Pet Rescue or the Leavenworth community of Hope Homeless Shelter

Burial Internment will be a private graveside service
