Donnie Lee Belcher

Donnie Lee "Don" Belcher, 84, of Lansing, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021.

He was born August 4, 1937, in Nevada, Missouri, the son of Robert and Nellie Belcher.  On December 5, 1959, he married Shirley Newby Belcher, who survives at the home. He is also survived by three children, Beth Ringel (Mike), Brent Belcher and Belinda Brandt; grandchildren, Amanda Jennings (Brandon), Lauren Adams (Hunter), Kristin Brandt, and Trent Belcher; great-grandchildren Cameron Jennings, Blake Jennings, and Austin Jennings.

Don graduated from Nevada High School in 1955, then served in the United States Navy from June 1955 to June 1958. He was a manager at Hallmark Cards from July 1958 to June 1995.  He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Tin Can Sailors Association, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Visitation will be Monday October 25, 2021, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with service immediately following at Davis Funeral Chapel, Leavenworth, Kansas. Burial will take place at 12:30 PM at the Leavenworth National Cemetery, 150 Muncie Road, Leavenworth, Kansas.
