With heavy hearts, we cherish the memory of 79-year-old, Doris Jean Kimbrough; a remarkable person and full of life and have touched the lives of all who knew her. Doris Jean Kimbrough, passed away, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday night, December 26, 2023, at Saint John Hospital in Leavenworth Kansas. Doris J. Kimbrough was born on July 12, 1944.
She leaves to cherish her memory of her only surviving sister Dr. Maryann Mosley. Doris Kimbrough was loving, compassionate and loved Jehovah God. Doris Kimbrough made service to Jehovah a lifelong career for 44 years. She has been a retired teacher for 20 years from the Kansas City Missouri School District. Kenneth Kimbrough married Doris Kimbrough in November 1963. Kenneth Kimbrough deceased on July 2, 2006. To this union leaves seven grieving children. Doris was a devoted mother and wife who enjoyed caring for her family.
She also leaves to cherish her memory of her beloved seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her dearly. She will be missed and appreciated for her kindness, guidance, wisdom and loving personality and will be remembered by all who know her.

Visitation will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel on January 20th, 2024, from 11AM-12PM Celebration of Life will follow from 12PM-1PM.
Interment will be at Mt. Muncie Cemetery Lansing KS, at a later date.
