Elizabeth "Betty" Logan

Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Logan, a cherished resident of Leavenworth, Kansas, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2026, at the age of 95 at Leavenworth Homestead. Born on August 13, 1930, in Franklin, New Hampshire, she was the beloved daughter of Ivan L. Brown and Winnifred M. Cutler Brown.

Betty married the love of her life, Robert Lee "Bob" Logan, on February 4, 1951, in Easton, Kansas. Their journey together was marked by devotion until Bob's passing on December 28, 2011. The memory of their son, Robert "Bobby" Logan Jr., who departed on March 10, 2011, also remains tender in our hearts. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Virginia Morehead, Doris Dearborn, Frances Jette, and brothers Ivan, Robert, and Bernard Brown.

Her legacy flourishes through her surviving children, Diane L. Mosbacher and her husband, Larry, of Leavenworth, Kansas, and Bruce A. Logan with his wife Lorrie of Lansing, Kansas. Betty's loving spirit continues in her five grandchildren—Hollie Mosbacher, Ashley (Nathan) Pineau, Megan (Scott) Walker, Hilary (Chris) Scanlon, and Sara (Eric) Kadlec—and her adored nine great-grandchildren, Riley, Madison, Mason, Hunter, Logan, Parker, Will, Josie, Avery, with anticipation for one more blessing to her lineage.

Betty dedicated twenty-nine years of service to AT&T as a telephone operator and clerk, retiring in 1984. Her steadfast faith was expressed through her membership at the First United Methodist Church, where she found community and solace.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the visitation, which will be held from 9:30 to 11 A.M. on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Davis Funeral Chapel, 531 Shawnee St., Leavenworth, Kansas. A funeral service will follow at 11 A.M. in the chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions to the First United Methodist Church, located at 5th and Chestnut St. in Leavenworth, Kansas, or to the Kickapoo Cemetery, or Catholic Community Health Hospice, honoring Betty's enduring legacy and love for her community.
