On Tuesday, 23 November 2021, Eric Richard White Sr., my best friend, lover, nemesis, and husband, passed away at the age of 55.

Eric was born in Syracuse NY 19 November 1966 to Jan Eric and Constance Anne (Murphy) Mattison.  In 1985 after high school Eric was a busy young man, he had just enlisted in the Army Reserves, worked full time, and was paying his way through college.  It was during his time in the reserves that Eric met his wife to be, Anna Elaine Strobel 17 August 1991 at Camp Parks, CA.  On 6 February 1993 Eric married Anna at St. John's Lutheran Church, Petaluma Ca. They raised three fantastic sons, Eric Jr, Robert Edward, and David William.

Throughout Eric's life he had various careers running the gamut from auto parts, computers, shipping, TSA, facilities maintenance, and even his own four-wheel drive company.  Eric used to laugh and cry that most of the companies he had worked for are no longer in business which was why he was so adept at reinventing himself. It didn't matter to Eric how he earned his income, what did matter was taking care of his family.  Anyone who knew Eric, or even someone in line with him at the grocery store, knew how much he loved his family and how proud he was of them.  I know for the boys and I sometimes a it was a little embarrassing how he would go on and on, but honestly mostly it felt pretty good.

I miss my husband; I even miss his silly jokes. I can't imagine what my life will be like without Eric, but I know he'll be up in heaven watching over me and the boys and he'll be going on and on about how proud he is of us, and how much he loves us.

Eric was preceded in death by his mother, Connie, and his father, Jan, also his step father Dennis White.  He is survived by his wife Anna, his three sons, Eric Jr, Robert, and David, his half brother John, several aunts, and uncles, cousins, and nieces, and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 3 ^rd 2021 at St. Paul's Episcopal church, located at 200 N. 7 ^th Street at 1 o'clock p.m.
