Esther (Toots) Louise Kopp, 88, Leavenworth passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021. Esther was born June 12, 1934 in Leavenworth to Henry and Lucille (Bryant) Althaber.

Esther graduated from Leavenworth High School, Class of 1951.  She married Richard W. Kopp, Sr. June, 24, 1952.

Esther spent many years working at St. Paul's Episcopal Church as the secretary and at Cushing Hospital as the material control supervisor.

Esther was a Cub Scout Den Mother and Leader of the Pack, helped with the Girl Scouts, taught Sunday School, served on the St. Paul's "Vestry" and served a term as Senior Warden, and was secretary for the Coast Guard Auxiliary. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, playing cards and entertaining family and friends.

Esther is survived by her husband, Richard, three children, all of Leavenworth, Deborah Kopp Gregory, Richard (Linda) Kopp, Jr., Michael Kopp, seven grandchildren, Casey and Kevin Coburn, Nicole and Christopher Kopp, Athena Hart, Isaac and Ian Kopp and 14 great grandchildren.

Esther is proceeded in death by her parents and a brother, Bryant "Willie" Eugene Althaber.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

Visitation will be 10 A.M. to 11 A.M., Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with the Funeral Service at 11 A.M. Burial will follow at Mount Muncie Cemetery.
