Francis Vernon (Buddy) Heintzelman of Leavenworth, 90, passed away on December 3, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Lee (Connell) Heintzelman, his parents Francis and Harriet Heintzelman, his sister Anna Catherine Butterfield, and brothers James, Bernie, and Andrew Heintzelman. He is survived by his sister Mary Wagner and by his four children, Mary (Hodges) Heintzelman-Glenn, Jacqueline Buselt, Timothy Heintzelman, and Angela (Mark) Peterson.  He is also survived by four grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel on Thursday, December 9, 2021, from 6-8 pm with a rosary at 7pm.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph of the Valley Church, Friday, December 10, 2021, at 10 am. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
