Gayle Ellen Grace, 68, of Leavenworth passed away April 16, 2023 at Providence Medical Center.

Gayle was born on February 19, 1955 to Hank and Mildred Inkman at Muncin Army Hospital on Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

Gayle married Edward Grace, Jr. on December 29, 1978 in Leavenworth, Kansas. Gayle graduated from Leavenworth High School and obtained some college credits. Gayle retired from Fort Leavenworth in 2010.

Gayle loved bowling, darts, and was a dish collector.  She was an avid reader and thoroughly enjoyed her diamond paintings.

Gayle was a very loving mother, wife, and an all-around beautiful soul.

Gayle is preceded in death by her son, David Lee Grace, and her parents, Hank and Mildred Inkman.

Gayle is survived by her husband, Edward Grace, Jr, of Leavenworth, Kansas, children, Jason Grace, of Lenexa, Kansas, Patrick and his wife Alyssa Grace, of North Carolina, grandchildren, Conner Sellers-Grace, Jayden Grace and Reece Grace.

Memorial donations are suggested to go to the American Kidney Foundation.

Visitation will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 5 to 7 P.M. Burial will be held at Leavenworth National Cemetery at a later date.
