Gloria E. Spence, 82, of Leavenworth KS passed away Tuesday September 3,2024 at Twin Oaks Skilled Nursing in Lansing, KS
Gloria was born February 13, 1942 in Caugas, Puerto Rico to Enrique and Narcissa (Negron) Hernandez. She 1960 graduate of Immaculate High
was a School in Leavenworth, KS. Gloria worked for Hallmark Cards before she married Ronald L. Milbourn on November 11, 1961 in Leavenworth, KS, They had 3 children together and stayed married until they divorced on November 30. 1979. In the late 70's Gloria went back to work for Hallmark Cards until she remarried on November 23,1985 in Leavenworth, KS to Russell J. Spence of Bountiful, Utah where they resided until their divorce in1995. Gloria then moved back to Leavenworth, KS and lived there until she passed. Gloria was a great cook and. loved to feed anyone and everyone who walked through her door. She always looked forward to family gatherings and holiday celebrations. She absolutely loved all 3 of her children, her 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters; Alice Terron of Leavenworth and Irma Searcy (Jim) of Weston, Mo. Gloria is survived by her sisters; Norma Runnebaum(Donnie) of Lansing,KS and Rosemary Cruz of El Cajon, CA. Her Children Connie Sanchez (Mark) of Lansing, KS; Lee Milbourn of Versailles, Mo ; Hank Milbourn (Kim) of Montrose, CO. Grandchildren; Kayla Sanchez of Rogers,AR, Neal Sanchez of Leavenworth,KS, DJ Milbourn of Kansas city, KS, Zachary Milbourn of Olathe,KS, Rachel Milbourn of Montrose Co. Great-grandchildren: Carah , Vincent, and Silas. Graveside Services are
private.
