James "Jimmie" Dean Loch, Leavenworth, passed away August 30, 2020. He just celebrated his 74 th birthday on August 4, 2020. Jim was born in Maryville to Robert and Ruth Loch in 1946. He was the oldest of their 8 children. He loved football, especially the Chiefs. He loved fishing. He loved watching "shit kickers" and he LOVED the U.S.A. Whatever job he did, he did well and worked hard. He always had something funny to say. Jim was full of wise advice when needed and a great friend to many.
Jim loved and treasured his daughter Angie Michael of Winfield, Missouri and her husband Matt and their boys, Brian, Mason, and Riley Michael. He loved and treasured his son Jared Loch of Troy, Missouri and his children, Zane, Wyatt, Lilly and Parker Loch. He is also survived by four sisters and a brother, Jan Goosey, Lisa McIntyre, Karen Rybolt, Jeff Loch, Jeanette Everhart, and all of their loved ones and children and grandchildren. Jim had many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Hoover and his sister, Kathy Piveral. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family to help with funeral expenses.
Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Leavenworth National Cemetery. The family requests you wear your Chiefs gear for Jimmy's love of the team. Due to COVID19 a limited number of people will be allowed inside the committal shelter, please attend by standing next your cars.
