James "Larry" Patterson Sr, 84, of Leavenworth, KS passed away Sunday, July 6th, 2025.

Larry was born November 29th, 1940 in Pleasantville, IA, the son of William M. Patterson and Eva Grace Burnham Patterson.
He Married Frances L. Cavaner on December 6th, 1960 at Jarbalo Methodist Church. They spent 46 eventful years together.

Larry loved traveling across the country by motorcycle with his wife and friends. Other hobbies included playing softball, flying his airplane, hunting, fishing, boat riding and spending time at his lake house with his family. He was a Union carpenter for several years until he grew his own
business with his wife and two sons. He owned Patterson Homes and Rentals.
Larry is survived by his brothers; John Patterson and Dan Patterson (Linda), two sons; Gary Patterson and Jim Patterson (Jami), daughter;
Missy Burke, Grandchildren; Kyle Patterson (Elizabeth), Rachael Wright (Caleb), Krystal Sanders (Kyle), several great grandchildren, cousins,
nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife Frances, his brother Bill, his sister Rose and his parents.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th from 5pm-7pm at Davis Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 16th at 10am at Davis Funeral Chapel followed by graveside services at Sunset Memory

Celebration of life will be held at Eagles Lodge 55, 300 S 20th St, Leavenworth, KS 66048 at 11:30am
