James O. Poff 95, passed away Saturday, May 24,2025 at home. Jim was born December 6, 1929 in Richardson, Kansas (Leavenworth County) to Margaret Farrell Poff and William Michael Poff. Jim was one of nine children. He was preceded in death by all of his siblings and one son John Mark Poff. Jim is survived by his wife of sixty one years Norma Poff, son Michael David Poff, grandson Mark James Poff, granddaughter Nancy M. Poff, great grandsons Joshua James Poff, Matthew Andrew Poff, Dacco Muth and great granddaughter Maria Muth. Jim was a civil service employee for 32 Years at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas holding various positions during his career. Jim served in the United States Army on Okinawa during the Korean War in ordinance.

Visitation will be May 28, 2025, Wednesday, 11:30 -- 12:30, at Davis Funeral Chapel. Funeral Service will follow at 12:30 P.M. Graveside will be at Leavenworth National Cemetery
