Jeanette (Jean) Marie Burris, age 75, passed away on June 4th, 2025, in Kansas City, KS. She was born on May 24th, 1950, to Donald and Ruby Olson in Omaha Nebraska. She attended all of her school years in Omaha.

She married Charles (Uncle Chuck) Burris in December of 1990. Her and Chuck loved to go to the movies or watch them from home. They also enjoyed riding his motorcycle. They both enjoyed spending time with their many nieces and nephews. Jean worked for many years for JC Penney as a customer service representative.  She made many friends there.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband Charles Burris, her parents Don and Ruby Olson and 2 brothers, Kenneth Olson and Gerald Olson. She is survived by 7 sisters, Sr. Donna Olson, O'Fallon, MO, Sue Kopfle (Mike), Columbia MO, Marti Boling (Jay), Topeka, KS, Mary Anglin (Steve), Mobile Alabama, Carol Olson, Rossville, KS, Paula Taylor, Topeka and Monica Olson, Topeka.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Spay and Neuter Clinic.

A Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, June 11, 2025, 11 A.M. to 1P.M. at Davis Funeral Chapel, 531 Shawnee St. Leavenworth. Burial will follow at Leavenworth National Cemetery
