John M. Poff, 59, died May 20, 2024 surrounded by his Loving Family.  John was born March 30, 1965 in Leavenworth Kansas to James O. and Norma (Walters) Poff. He graduated from Xavier Catholic Grade School and Immaculata High School. He received a certificate In Auto Mechanics from Atchison Vo-Tech. He was subsequently employed by Western Auto and then by Firestone, Leavenworth from which he retired in 2022 after 25 years. He is survived by his parents James and Norma Poff and a brother Michael D. Poff, Leavenworth, two children, Mark James Poff, Tonganoxie, and Nancy Poff, Leavenworth, three grandchildren, Joshua Poff, Dacco Muth and Maria Muth. Contributions can be made to St Paul Lutheran School Scholarship Fund, St. Jude Childrens Hospital, or First Pentecostal Church, Bonner Springs. Visitation will be on Thursday May 23, 2024 from 9:00 Am to 1100 Am with funeral service following at Davis Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery.
