She graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Elementary Education. She married Army Lieutenant John A. Reichley on April 10, 1964. They lived on several Army bases in the U.S. and Germany.

She was an Elementary School teacher and also a Children's Sunday School teacher and Mission Friends leader throughout her life in the Southern Baptist Churches she belonged to.

She is survived by husband, John, of Anthology in Olathe, sister Peggy (Terry) of Talladega, Alabama, brother, Tom, of Fayette, Alabama, son Joel (Carrie) of Lake Wylie, South Carolina, daughter Paige (Jay) of Bolivar, Missouri, daughter Kristen (David) of Olathe, Kansas, sister in law Mary Ann Reichley of Gulf Shores, Alabama, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and many loved nieces and nephews.

Judy was never one to desire a life in the spotlight; you would find her instead working tirelessly behind the scenes. She was, we believe, the sweetest soldier in her Lord's army, touching countless lives throughout her too-short 81 years.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Women's Missionary Union, also known as WMU, of which Judy belonged to and supported for many years.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Davis Funeral Chapel from 11:30-12:30, followed by a service at 12:30 and burial at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
