Kathy Arloa (Rogers) Ramirez was born February 19, 1948 in Chicago, IL to James P. and Lola I. (Kindler) Rogers Jr. She passed at the age of 78 on Friday June 12, 2026. The family moved to Leavenworth in 1953 with her parents who have proceeded her in death. Kathy graduated from Leavenworth Senior High School in 1966.

Kathy is survived by her son David (Robin) Ramirez of Leavenworth, Daughter Sandra (Steve) Ramirez of Lansing and 2 grandchildren Raven and Donovan. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, 3 aunts. 2 uncles and two cousins.

Kathy is an avid member of Eagles Auxiliary #55 since 1968 and served as Madam President from 2012-2013. She is also a member of VFW #56. Kathy attended First Christian Church.

Kathy enjoyed playing cards, watching TV and movies.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to diabetic research, cancer or heart fund. Memorials may also be given to Hope Pet Rescue.

Services will be held in the First Christian Church 130 N. 6th Street Leavenworth, KS with visitation 10-11am Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 11am. On Saturday July 18, 2026.
