Obituary

Kenneth Elvin Elliott passed into the loving arms of Jesus on September 1, 2026.

Kenneth was born on September 20, 1944, in Carrollton Mo to Elvin P Elliott and Velma E Cary Elliott. He has 3 brothers Gerald and Joseph Elliott (resting in heaven), Daniel “Danny” Elliott and 1 sister Janice Elliott Walden.

“Ken” or “Kenny” to his family and friends graduated Carrollton Highschool in 1962. He joined the United States Airforce in 1963 and served with great pride as Airman First Class in Korea until 1967. He married Linda Joyce Allen on August 18, 1967. While raising their children he took them on several family vacations throughout the U.S. He was employed with Banquet Foods in Carrollton Mo until they closed in 1986. He began a career as an ‘over the road” truck driver for CFI until relocating to Saint Louis Mo in 1995 where he worked as an electrical assembler at Eaton until he retired in 2010.

During life’s journey, he continued his passion for fishing, chevy automobiles and a love for watching Kansas City Chiefs football with his brothers. After his accident in 2023 that brought him to his daughter’s home football would soon become a favorite past time of making memories with his baby girl and son-in-law. With every nail-biting win he would never fail to shout, “was there ever any doubt?!” His knowledge of the Kansas city Chiefs was endless; this man could answer just about any Chiefs Kingdom Trivia questions back to the year they were founded, in 1959!

He was a man of few words; made his mark where it counted, by being a devoted donator for “Wounded Warrior Project” and “ST Jude for Children Cancer Research after childhood cancer hit close to home.

He was blessed with 2 loving daughters Angela Denise Elliott (resting in Heaven) and Julie Elliott Culbert (Robert), several grandchildren and great grandchildren

Ashley Culbert (resting in Heaven) Kendra Vass Threatt (James) (Brayton, Ryder, Kason and Symba) Andrew Ruark (Christina) (Jaxon, Adrian, Taylee and Lillie) Tanner Green (Katie) Paislee, Gemma and Kade: additional grandchildren Lyndsi, Jessika (resting in heaven), Kasey, Kennadee and Aiden, Great grandchildren Brileigh (resting in heaven), Braxton, Kynleigh, Ady, Graham and Larkin along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.

He will be remembered for his heartfelt witty humor, his “Chiefs” signature wardrobe and his love for classic country music.

He has cheered his final game from the earthly stands and is now watching from the best seat in the stadium. Go chiefs”
