Kevin James Vargas, 22, Leavenworth, passed away September 3, 2024.
Kevin had such a love of animals, nature, and collecting, well, anything. Including animals. Turtles, rabbits, birds, squirrels, lizards, and snakes were some of his finds. He didn't get to keep them all, to his dismay. He was very smart and very goofy which made him so entertaining. He will truly be missed by all his family and friends. We love you, Kevin.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Anne Weigel, Leavenworth; his brother, Allen Vargas, Tonganoxie; maternal grandmother, Mary Bacon, Leavenworth; paternal grandfather, Patrick Vargas, Leavenworth; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Brian Vargas; paternal grandmother, Barbara Vargas; uncle, Gregg Vargas; and aunt, Kathleen Vargas.
