Kevin Ray Young. 61, Leavenworth was released into his Fathers loving arms Monday, January 29th, 2024 at home, peacefully surrounded by his family.

He was born April 28th, 1962 in Harrison AR, The Son of Kenneth Young & Billie (Ellis) Wells. Kevin Graduated from Waynesville High School in 1980. He joined the United States Air Force, 1981 as an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist. Kevin was a Sheet Metal Forman for American Roofing from 1986 to present. His work can be seen all over Leavenworth and the Greater Kansas City area.

Kevin passions includes GOD & His Family. He was an avid fisherman, spending a many nights with stink bait on his fingertips, #1 Razorback & Mizzou Basketball Fan and a Die-Hard Chiefs Football Fan. His love of sports he shared with his boys, playing a game of hoops every night after work.

Proceeded in death by his father Ross Wells, Mother Billie Wells & Kenneth Young, Grandma & Grandpa Huffman, Grandma & Grandpa Young and Grandma & Grandpa Wells.

Kevin is Survived and missed by His "Baby Loves"  Diane Seber Leavenworth, His Son's & daughter, Larry (Che) New York, Jake, Clay (Pamela), April (Josh) all of Leavenworth, his brothers Keith (Joan) Young Clinton, UT, Kraig Young Neosho, MO and Lloyd (Bethany) Wells of Houston, MO. 12 Grandchildren, two Nieces, three nephews, three great-nieces & one great-nephew.

Visitation will be 11 A.M. to 1 P.M., Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Davis Funeral Chapel. Funeral Service will follow at 1 P.M. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery following the services.
