Laura "Lou" Pinion, 97, passed away on Saturday, December 10 th , 2022, at her home in Watauga, TX surrounded by her loving family.
Lou, as she was known to family and friends was born on April 21, 1925 to Clyde and Benny Becton in Troy, Tennessee. Lou will be remembered for her calm demeanor, limitless love, compassionate and positive attitude, sense of humor and wonderful personality. Her kind words left anyone she met feeling appreciated and significant. Lou had a special gift to make everyone in her life feel like they were the most important
while loving all equally.
Lou is survived by her daughter Donna L Spellman (Ray) of Watauga, TX, son Louis W. Taylor II (Connie) of Arlington, TX; Grandchildren, Lisa R Douthitt (Mike), Leslie McGuffin (Erik) and Raymond Spellman III (Tina), Louis W. Taylor III, and Eric G. Taylor; 13 Great Grandchildren and 12 Great-Great Grandchildren. Lou is proceeded in death by her husband SFC John J. Pinion.
Visitation will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel 531 Shawnee St Leavenworth, KS 66048
on Sunday, December 18, 2022 from 4pm-6pm. Lou will be laid to rest at the
Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, KS on December 19, 2022 @ 12:30pm
