Lena D. Adams, 85, Leavenworth, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023. Lena was born September 30, 1937 in Leavenworth, Kansas, the daughter of Gus R. Schonherr and Addie Knapp Schonherr. On December 31, 1953 she married James E. Adams, he preceded in death on June 10, 2013. She was also preceded in death by her parents, four siblings, and daughter in law, Darcie Adams.

Lena leaves behind her three children, Jim Adams, Tom (Kathleen) Adams and Denise (Billy) Dillon, five grandchildren, Katie (Doug) Bray, Allison (Jared) Rogers, Ryan Dillon, Molly (Ethan) Behne, Aaron (Baillie) Adams and five great grandchildren, Holly Bray, Nora Behne, James Adams, Myles Rogers, and Isaiah Adams.

Lena was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Women's Eagles Auxiliary.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Council on Aging (Animal Program)  P.A.L.S.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 P.M., Monday, September 25, 2023 at Davis Funeral Chapel. Funeral Service will be 11 A.M., Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Davis Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
