LeRoy (Lee) Joseph Nelson, 68, Leavenworth, KS died May 28,2024 at his residence.  He was born October 23, 1955 in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan the son of Dolly and Delbert Nelson.  They preceded him in death.

LeRoy grew up with four brothers, Delbert, John, Chris, and Murvin who survive him.

Mary Jane Galiberth and LeRoy were married in Gaylord, Michigan in 1976.  The love of his life Mary Jane preceded him in death March 4, 2016.    He is survived by his son, Larry and spouse Debbie.  Grandchildren Larry III, Sam, and 9 great grandchildren.  He is also survived by 3 nieces and nephews.

LeRoy was employed in property maintenance and also worked in surveying.  In his leisure time he enjoyed playing darts.
