Leslie Albert Spain, age 68, of Leavenworth, Kansas, went to be with Jesus on Dec 17, 2025  at KU Med Center in Kansas City.

He was born on October 5, 1957 in Leavenworth, KS to Thomas Edward and Edna Grace (Allen) Spain.  He was the third of three sons.  Les played saxophone in the school band.  He attended school in Leavenworth then worked as a carpenter for many years and had many friends in Leavenworth and the surrounding area.  Les also attended sales at every opportunity.  For fun, he liked to ride quads and taught his mother Edna to ride them too.

Leslie was preceded in death by his father Tom Spain, and his brother Tommy Dee Spain.  Les is survived by his daughter Christa Peterson and husband Antonio of Sacramento, CA, sons Brandon and Mason Spain of Huntington, IN, mother Edna Spain of Leavenworth, KS, brother Alan Spain and wife Brenda of Puntagorda, FL, 8 grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Chapel of Leavenworth, KS.  Memorial services will be held at a later date.
