Obituary

Linda Lee Booth, 75, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away at her home on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. She was born to Joy and Warren Brown on October 12, 1945 the second of eight children. She graduated from Wyandotte High School and entered into Bethany Hospital School of Nursing. After graduating she entered into the United States Air Force in 1968. She furthered her nursing career and become a Nurse Anesthetist and a rank of Captain, retiring in 1978. But then went to work with the VA to retire in 1996.

She is preceded in death by parents, Joy and Warren Brown, brothers, Ellis Brown and Edward Brown a sister, Virginia Flaherty and a nephew Gary Sheppard II.

Her survivors are a brother Barry (Jodie) Brown, sisters, Barbara (Gary) Sheppard, Joyce Hodge, and Judith (Steven) Phipps, sister in law, Beverly Brown, and nieces and nephews, Tim Sheppard, Tammy Sheppard, Amy Dunn, Kelly Brown, Mike Brown, Melissa Ruiz, Wendi Calder, Crystal Field, Julie Phipps, Jim Phipps, David Phipps, Angela Laurie, Connie Brown and Randy Brown, 19 great nieces and nephews, two great great nephews and one great great niece.

Visitation will be 1 to 2 P.M., Monday, November 30, 2020 at Davis Funeral Chapel followed by a funeral service at 2 P.M. Burial will be Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery at 1:30 P.M. on Friday, December 4, 2020.
