Obituary

Linda Mary Cooper, 76, passed peacefully and surrounded by her family on March 3, 2024, in Kansas City, KS.

Linda was born on January 1, 1948, to Harold and Pearl Wilson, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, and had one sibling Michael. She had one son and one daughter, Chip and Rachel.

During her life, she worked in several industries as an administrative expert. However, she loved her hobbies better – sewing, crocheting, and cooking. Linda was an amazing crafter, and her preferred mediums were yarn and fabric. She was a devoted Catholic and committed her time to praying for others. Linda also had a love for all animals, including cats, dogs, birds, and fish.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Pearl, brother, Michael, and aunt, Anne Lorraine. She is survived by her children, Chip Bussell and Rachel Henley (husband, John), cousins Denise and Austin Allsop, grandchildren William, Morgan, and James Henley, and her faithful companion and cat, Reno.

The Rosary at 11 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 11:30 A.M. will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at St. Francis de Sales in Lansing, KS. Burial will immediately follow at Mount Calvary.
