Linda was born on March 29, 1950 to Cleona Staats and John Kollmeyer in Carthage, MO. Linda had two siblings growing up, William Kollmeyer and Lewis Kollmeyer and a close cousin, Sandra Jordan. Linda graduated from Carthage High School in 1968.

Linda married James (Jim) Duree on Feb. 14, 1988.

She worked with the government doing secretarial work. Enjoyed quilting, cross-stitch and needle work.

Linda is survived by 2 sons, Christopher (Jency) Pierce and Michael (Molly) Pierce. A step-daughter, Danelle Duree-Campbell (James) Campbell. 5 grandchildren, Bryce Pierce, Zadok, Gabriel and Evangeline Pierce and Jessie Beach. Also, 3 great-grandchildren. A brother, William Kollmeyer and 1 nephew, 3 nieces and a cousin.

She is preceded in death by her spouse, James (Jim) Duree. A brother, Lewis Kollmeyer. Her parents, Cleona Staats and John Kollmeyer and mother-in-law, Evelyn Racine.
