Lucille Wilson, 63, passed away Friday, August 21, 2020.
Lucille graduated from Lansing High School. After Lucille graduated, she moved to Kansas City, Missouri, where she went to school to be a Pharmacy Technician and an EMT.
Lucille loved sports! Because of her love of sports, Lucille became a youth coach. She coached T- ball, softball, and basketball with the youth in her community, as well as her son (Kenney). She was a Kansas City Chiefs Fan. Lucille was an active member of the Elks Club until she became ill two years ago.
Lucille was a caretaker to many. She loved life and people. She never met a stranger. Lucille was a blessing to so many. She always fed and welcomed anyone that came to her home. She thoroughly enjoyed cooking for the neighborhood at their block get togethers. Even in her last days, she continued to make phone calls and check on her friends and family. She enjoyed taking care of others any way she could. She loved cooking, entertaining others, and dancing. Anytime she showed up she was definitely the life of the party.
Lucille was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Neil Wilson, Sr., their son, Neil Wilson, Jr., and her grandmother, Lucille McKoy.
Lucille is survived by her children, Kenney Matthew Tyree Wilson, Darvis Armand Prid Geon, and Mya Bryant, her mother, Lillie Johnson, her father, James Baldwin Sr. (Dora), Siblings, Juanita Williams, Patricia Whitley, Thomas Anderson (Tammy), Dollie Robinson (Clifford), Harlan Anderson, Gloria Childs (John), Francis McMillon (Tracy), Jacqueline Baldwin Green ( Charles), James Baldwin Jr., Precious Baldwin, Dwayne Baldwin, Patricia Baldwin, and Patrick Baldwin Sr. (Shawn), a host of nieces and nephews, many friends and other family members, and a special friend and caregiver during her fight with cancer, Betty Jordan.
Funeral Service will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel on Friday, August 28, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. Immediately following will be a balloon release to honor Lucille.
