Marleen Mavis Clark, 72, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023.

Marleen was born on May 2, 1950 in Boston, Massachusetts to Mavis Louise Nieforth and Harold Gerard Costa, Jr. Marleen married Donald Sherman Clark on April 17, 1971 in Millis, Massachusetts. She achieved an Associates Degree in Accounting from KCKCC.

Marleen was the accounts receivable person for the University of Saint Mary. She resided in Leavenworth and Lansing, Kansas area for the majority of her life. Her hobbies include crafts and crochet.

Marleen is survived by her children, Jeff and Lisa Clark of Lansing, Greg Clark and Stephanie Nicholes of North Kansas City, six grandchildren, Lexie, Brianna, Jordyn, Andrew, Brady and Donald, and two siblings, Mary Cavender and Daniel Costa.

Marleen was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Sherman Clark on August 7, 2010 and her son, Timothy Donald Clark in August of 2022.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.

Visitation will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel on Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. with a funeral service following at 5 p.m. Burial will be on Friday, February 17, 2023 at Leavenworth National Cemetery at 9 a.m. with the procession leaving Davis Funeral Chapel at 8:30 a.m. to go to the cemetery.
