Mary Elona Hill Stafford passed away Monday,  August 1, 2022.

Mary was born on June 10, 1922 to George Victor and Mary Ancel Matlock Hill at Clifton Hill, Missouri.

In 1942 Mary went to work at City National Bank in Kansas City, Missouri. Later, she worked at Grand Avenue Bank, becoming UMB at Crown Center and retired as Senior Vice President in 1987.

Mary was active member of American Institute of Banking, National Association of Bank Women in Kansas City, Women's Chamber of Commerce, United Way, Daughters of American Revolution, Parkville Fine Arts Association. In more recent years she volunteered with Saint Luke's Northland.

Mary joined her husband, Ted H. Stafford, in his attendance and their enjoyment of many sports activities.  Ted H. Stafford preceded her in death in 2003. Mary is preceded in death by her two sisters, one brother and one sister-in-law.

Mary is survived by her nieces, Judy Webster of Clifton Hill, MO, Georganne Donaldson of Columbia, MO, Marjorie Ann Jarvis Dierks, of Shawnee, KS, and nephews Jesse (Nancy) Freeman of Lenexa, KS, Victor (Buddy) Loren Jarvis, of Sedalia, Mo.

She is also survived by sister- in- law, Sondra Call and husband Don of Basehor, KS, brother-in-law Gary Stafford of Easton, KS.

Graveside service will be held at Easton Cemetery, Friday August 19, 2022 at 11 A.M.
