Melinda L. Marcum, 68, Leavenworth, passed away surrounded by her family peacefully, leaving behind a life well-lived and a heart full of love.

Melinda Marcum, born April 11, 1956, in Wichita, Kansas to Roy Lee Ehrlich & Henrietta Ehrlich.

She is survived by her siblings: Mark Ehrlich, Mitch Ehrlich & Monna Jenkins.

A talented musician, Melinda's melodies brought joy to those around her. Whether playing for an audience or simply strumming for herself, music was her soul's language. She was also a devoted gardener, finding peace and beauty in the flowers she nurtured.

Above all, Melinda's faith was her guiding light. She loved God deeply and lived a life of kindness, compassion, and grace. She also had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her beloved cats, who were always by her side.

Melinda's warmth, wisdom, gentleness and unwavering spirit will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. While she is no longer with us, her love, laughter, and music will live on in our hearts forever.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025, 2 to 4 P.M. at Davis Funeral Chapel.
