Michael Jon Amaral, 57, passed from this world on Friday, March 18, 2022.

He was born September 9, 1964 at Balboa Naval Hospital, San Diego, California to Leonard (Lenny) A. Amaral and Sue (Buchanan) Amaral.

Michael attended Leavenworth High School and graduated in 1983. He loved all kinds of sports and was active on the Leavenworth Wrestling Team.

Michael is survived by his father Lenny Amaral of Lansing, one son Michael Jon Amaral of Lansing, a brother Mark Amaral of Topeka, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Sue (Buchanan) Gooch, a sister Michelle Amaral, and his wife Brenda (Lemons) Amaral.

Memorial service will be March 26 ^th , held at ll A.M. at the First Baptist Church, 800 W. 7th Street, Leavenworth, KS.
