Obituary

Natalie Rotkoff passed away on 26 June 2025.

In 2006, a lifetime New Yorker moved to Lansing and immediately stated to contribute to her new community. Natalie Rotkoff was a nurse, a fantastic baker, a social butterfly, a civic minded person, and above all a wonderful mother and mother-in law to her children and in-laws.
Raised in Brooklyn and later moving to Croton-on-Hudson she spent the first 73 years as a born and bred New Yorker. When she moved to Lansing to live with Steve and Libby there was a bit of an adjustment as she learned mid-western culture. But she was undeterred. She set up a
shingle, offering free medical advice at the center on aging, she joined both the Leavenworth and Lansing historical societies, she volunteered at both libraries, and she reconnected with the league of women voters. The fact that she brought home baked goods to almost every event
did not hurt in quickly widening her circle. She dressed up for every occasion to include shopping at Aldi – it is rumored that no one had ever seen her without make-up! Her first priority though was always her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and all variety of in- laws and outlaws. Everything she did or said was motivated by care and concern for her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you contribute to the Jewish synagogue at West Point.

She is survived by 4 children, Steve Rotkoff ( wife - Libby), Leslie Boylan (husband - Kevin), Alyese Moskowitz, and Kenneth Rotkoff ( wife - Ragan), 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Her remembrance service will be at the Davis Funeral Home on 30 August from 1-2 pm with a celebration of her life following at 713 Willow St Lansing KS beginning at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers please make any donations in her honor to the West Point Jewish chapel – standard mail, and on-line donation website below:
