Noel
Green
Jul 20, 1971 — Apr 29, 2025
Noel Edward Green, beloved son of Katherine Combs Green, Leavenworth and Edward H. Green and wife Miranda, Edmond, OK died early Tuesday morning, April 29, 2025in Oklahoma City, OK,
Noel was born at St John Hospital, Leavenworth, KS July 20, 1971. From His earliest days he was a strong, beautiful, curious and happy baby. He was the center of his parents' lives.
Growing up he attended both public and catholic schools. He played basketball, baseball, was on the swim team, played soccer, excelled in darts and loved golf-a game he learned from Mike Connelly and Bernie Williams at Leavenworth Country Club.
He graduated from Immaculata High School in 1989 and attended K State with an interest in agronomy which he used in lawn care and golf course management in Oklahoma and Missouri. He loved being outside and on the golf course.
The most important people in his life were his parents, his aunts and uncles, his fiancé Pam Snow, his grandmother Mary Combs and an eclectic group of friends both young and old from all walks of life.
Noel was proud of his Irish heritage and loved growing up in Leavenworth and being catholic.
Noel was an animal lover especially dogs. Pam's dog Lucy became Noel's special girl and he adopted a large dog from a deceased friend. This dog, Duke, followed him everywhere he went. Noel referred to him as his "course" dog because he walked the golf course with Noel several times every day whether playing golf or inspecting it for upkeep and repairs. Pam will care for Duke.
Noel was a positive, generous, loving soul and he leaves behind a broken- hearted family. We are so grateful to share our life with him for too short a time.
He now goes to join many more of his relatives at the Mount Calvary Cemetery where he will rest with even more aunts, uncles, grandparents, and great grandparents and great-great grandparents and where his mother will one day join him.
Visitation will be at Davis Funeral Chapel on Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 6 to 8 P.M. with a rosary at 6.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at St Joseph Church, where he was once an altar boy, on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 11 A.M.
Memorial contributions may be given to Xavier Catholic School Scholarship Fund.
Please remember his loving, positive, spirit in prayer.
